St Mary's Site
The New Saints ground will be a great venue for both the fans and players, it
will continue a great tradition with the 24th season in the top flight. The
stadium will seat 32,000 fans and 15,000 have been sold as from 11/03/00. The
club have a target of 18,000 season tickets to be sold up front with the away
fans getting almost twice the allocation at the Dell there will be a fantastic
atmosphere in the North Stand (2,800) where I will sit and many of the Archers
lads. The South Stand will emulate the old Milton End and this will hold
5,200.There will also be an unallocated area to be sold at short notice before
games and fans will be able to sit anywhere in that designated area, good idea.
The archeologists begin the excavations. In March 2001 they think its all over,
it nearly is!
