This was the best game I have ever seen at the Dell, it was an absolutely
superb experience to have watched Saints win in this the last league game and to
see Le God get the last goal too.

Saints 1 Brighton HA 0. last Ever Game at The Dell. 26th May 2001
This was one hell of a party, with one of best pitch invasions you will ever experience in you football life. It was like a plaque of locusts as the Saints fans swarmed onto the pitch to get anything for souvenirs, ad boards, phones, gates, turf, signs the lot.
