Three expert metal fans ( Manny, Ian Corlett and Andy Alder) were unable to
conclude which Judas Priest LP was the best out of Killing Machine or British
Steel.
Andy was adamant that British Steel was the best, quoting Rapid Fire and Grinder
as classics but he lives in a secluded forest and creates batch files, Ian ( the
instrumentalist ) thinks he knows more about the variations
in each track and the skill involved. Manny judged the tracks purely on what he
regarded as great `head banging` tracks from the old skool days of rock.
The discussion went on and on, could Breaking the Law hold its own against
Delivering the Goods? dare I say it on a 1-1 basis, yuck what a shit office
term, there I said it. But we don't need any stupid buzz words to settle this,
just `back to basics` and a `quality review` on which track Delivers the
Goods....
So I devised a spreadsheet to scientifically prove once and for all which is the
best track for track. Each track is judged and marked on Riff, Lead and Vocals.
Of course the `Musician` Ian wanted `Drums and Bass` to be included but we only
had a certain amount of days to complete this.
And the world cup is approaching...En-Ger.-Land will be `Running Wild`,
Delivering the Goods and `Taking on the World` in Germany.
See the results below....Then buy the LPs and turn the volume up
and ROCK FOREVER!
